| About NAA |
|
In the year 2000, a few artists and curators in Nashville got together to
figure out a way to better connect Nashville to the international
contemporary art scene. Five years later we launched a website called
Nashville Area Arts (Naa). It is designed to facilitate dialogue between
Nashville artists and visiting artists, writers, and curators. It also
provides our site visitors with information on the visual arts in Middle
Tennessee. Naa is made up of museums, galleries, art centers, and
established artist's groups or cooperatives in the greater Nashville area
that exhibit or interpret visual art as their primary focus. For more
information or for membership questions, you can contact Naa's Director,
Jenny Gill, at director@areaarts.org. Sign up for Naa's e-mail updates, featuring upcoming events and original criticism! Naa is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization under the umbrella of the Nashville Cultural Arts Project (NCAP). Make a donation to help support NAA's education and community outreach efforts! ____________________________________________________________________ NAA is seeking interns! More info If you are a critic and would like information on Naa's support for writers visiting our area, visit our Critic's Wanted page.
